After earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Steve Best MD completed a two-year sub-specialty fellowship in Neuropsychiatry of Children and Adults at Chicago Medical School. During his fellowship, he was mentored by Michael Alan Taylor, M.D., Chairman of Psychiatry, and Dragomir Michael Vuckovich, M.D., Chairman of Neurology. Dr. Steve Best, MD, received training in the application of functional brain imaging (PET) to Neuropsychiatry from Malcolm Cooper, M.D. He also provided neuropsychiatric consultations at the Ann Kiley Center in North Chicago, IL, a State of Illinois facility for developmentally disabled adults with severe behavior or psychiatric disorders. Dr. Steve Best, MD, also gained experience working with a large Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Group Practice.
