Dr. Thomas Drost, MD, knew he wanted to become a physician from a young age, inspired by family doctors in his hometown in southern Nevada. After completing a BS in Zoology/Physiology on a football scholarship at the University of Wyoming, he attained his medical degree from the University of Nevada

Dr. Thomas Drost, MD, received his pre-medical education at the University of Wyoming, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Physiology. He attained his medical degree at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1985, followed by a general surgery residency and trauma fellowship at the University of South Florida in 1991. In addition to his traditional medical training, Dr. Thomas Drost, MD, also holds a post-graduate degree in Naturopathic Medicine. Currently, he is a licensed physician and board-certified surgeon practising in Illinois.
