Thank you very much.
Patrick would like to thank Lorraine for inviting me to speak here to this group. I think you guys are doing a fantastic job. I've had an opportunity to participate, at least in some of the educational programs, primarily learning about the work of the Cancer Control Society for several years. And I think that you you folks are doing in a very valuable, very valuable thing for society and the very valuable thing for humanity. It's unfortunate that medicine has seemed to have lost its way from a perspective of integrity and a perspective of humanity. And so much of what goes on in modern medicine today is driven perhaps not in the best interests of patients, but in the best interest of industry. Perhaps the best example of that is, is our current HMO is the HMO medicine that we suffer under today. And the entire concept of health care freedom is is a very critical issue because it affects every man, woman and child in the United States and ultimately in the world because the United States is the world leader in health care. And that's why we I'm very fond of saying that anti-aging medicine is really about freedom. It's about healthcare, freedom, the freedom to choose your own health care, destiny. But I suppose in many ways, the Cancer Control Society is also about health care, freedom, about being able to choose, choose what's best for you. And there's no one person in this world who can choose what's best, better for you than you yourself, not your doctor, not your priest, certainly not your politicians. But they all want to make those decisions for you. And I say don't let them.
Anyway, my presentation today is going to be on anti-aging medicine and its role in cancer prevention. And if I can get these slides moving, I will begin.
Anyway, while the slides are being set up, we go.
Thank you. I'm Dr. Ron Klotz. I'm president of the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine, where a relatively new society having our origins in 1993, we began in nineteen ninety three with just 12 physicians in Chicago. The academy is in Chicago. And since that those humble beginnings in 1993 when we brought together 12 very prominent experts in the field of anti-aging mass and there was really no anti-aging medicine time in the field of aging intervention, I suppose we've grown to we've grown to international medical society with representatives now in 65 different countries around the world. And what draws us all together this 10th, over ten thousand five hundred members of the academy is the absolute fervent belief
