Thank you. And I really want to thank all of you for making this such a priority in your life to spend the day or the weekend. It's a great investment that will yield much fruit in your lives. And I know it's changed my life when I've committed to learning and getting educated, and that's why in the time I have, I'd like to share with you. I'm actually the author of a book called Hormone Heresy, which is dedicated to informing and empowering women. Up until very recently, I have been living in Australia, and for 17 years actually. And out of the passion that I have gained from the research for the past 7 years investigating the use and abuse of steroid hormone treatment, the myths and misinformation around the wide ranging ways women are being addressed with their health problems has changed my life, changed my life personally. And it's now bringing me back to the United States, where I'm about to become a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. But I want to say that Hormone Heresy much to my surprise, actually became a bestseller in Australia. And it's done a lot to help educate and empower the women there.

And it was out of the need to heal and address those symptoms that I began the journey of discovery actually, that led me to not only healing what was going on in my body, within 30 days, those symptoms totally disappeared, but I began an investigation. Because here I was 45, I knew nothing about menopause, which was looming on the horizon. I knew nothing about hormone replacement therapy. And to my surprise, I knew nothing about my own physiology as a woman. And so as I began to investigate and research these important questions, looking into literature, kind of scratching beyond the surface of things. What I discovered that so shocked and appalled and outraged me, that I was compelled to write, which culminated in writing Hormone Heresy. And right now, it's taking me around the world communicating and lecturing to women.
So I'm going to be addressing women's issues. But what I want to say to the men in the room, because you all have women in your lives. It's important that you understand what's happening to the women in your lives. And that many of the issues
