Frank, thank you very much.
Thank you. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming. As you as you heard, I am.
I'm Howard Strauss. Not my mother. Charlotte Gersen, who has spoken in this timeslot. As you heard again for 41 out of the past 42 years. The year before last, she suffered a severe fall and shattered a couple of bones in her pelvis. Now, at age 90, that's usually a fatal injury, but not for Charlotte. So a year later, I told people not to not to write her off. A year later, she was here at this podium addressing you. So that was last year. And actually the year, the year before I. She had asked me to come and fill in for her on about an hour's notice.
So that was that was exciting. But this time I had a little more notice because this time three months ago, she once again fell, lost her balance, fell and and broke her femur right at the trochanter.
Now she's 92. So the the recovery process is much more difficult and much more tedious.
Once again, that would normally be a fatal injury for our 92 year old. This time I can't I can't promise you, but she is gradually improving rather than deteriorating. And I wouldn't write her off quite yet. She is a fighter.
She does send her regards.
She is.
She loves to speak to you people and and I do, too. I've been here with her for the past, oh, 15 or 20 years carrying books and manning the booth, selling books, signing books, things like that, driving her up and back from San Diego. So but I've been I've been I've been a member of the Gersen effort for quite a while now as Charlotte was taught the Gersen therapy at her father's knee and in her father's clinics in Europe and in New York.
She and Dr. Gersen taught me by exposure, experience and expertize. Along the way, I picked up other information from my own education at M.I.T. in physics and my my professional life as a computer systems analyst for 40 some odd years. So that when well, when I retired from that industry and I joined my life to the effort to spread Gersen all over the world. I had a whole extra set of skills that that enabled me to actually understand what was going on on a on a much more scientific basis than Charlotte. Understood. Charlotte understood the practicalities of it. She saw when she did thus in such a way that Dr. Gersen said and she also was very intuitive as a healer.
