Dr. Day developed severe advanced cancer, biopsy proven at 2 major U.S. medical centers. But she refused chemotherapy, radiation and mutilating surgery, all the methods she was taught during her medical training, because of their destructive side effects. She chose instead to rebuild her immune system using the natural, simple, inexpensive therapies designed by God and available to everyone, so her body could heal itself. She is now totally well and cancer-free, and it’s been 24 years since her tumor first appeared. Information on how she got well is available on her website at www.drday.com and by calling 1-800-574-2437.
Her latest new books are called What Does it take to Get Well? and I will Give you Back your Health again.

It's always a pleasure to be here because I feel that I'm always among friends. Anyone here who has cancer or any other serious disease, you are the lucky ones. Because this will be a life-changing event as you get well.
You can read first cancer. You can reverse every kind of cancer and there are no incurable diseases. Yes, I'm a medical doctor. I learned nothing about true healing in all of my medical training. Not only did I get my M.D. and my post-graduate training in orthopedic surgery, but I was also seven-eighths of the way through my p_h_d_ in cell and molecular biology before I left the university and went south into Southern California to get married again.
But I learned nothing about healing until I was through all of that. I trained thousands of doctors. I taught them all the wrong things because I didn't know any better. But fortunately, I can make up for some of that now. In 1992, I developed cancer. I had a lump that was small. At first, I didn't think it was cancer. No doctor thought it was cancer, but I had it removed because it bothered me when I put on my seat belt. It turned out to be cancer. It was high up on my chest. It was breast cancer. By the time the biopsy was done, the cancer had already spread through the muscles of my chest wall. They wanted to do a chorus, of course, a mastectomy. And I said, no because you see, as I've said here before, I didn't develop breast cancer because I had too many breasts. Cutting them off does not solve the problem.
So I changed my diet dramatically. I knew that even the American Cancer Society admits that a third of all cancers could be prevented by the right diet and exercise. The Harvard School of Public Health says it's two-thirds of cancer that could be prevented by just those two things. But now I had cancer and I changed my diet dramatically. I went on the right diet, a totally vegan diet with a lot of fresh vegetable juices as well. That was the right diet. But if I can send one thing home with you today, diet alone is not enough to cure cancer.
It is not enough to cure any serious disease. It is an integral part of the plan, a critical part of the plan. But it is not enough by itself. I did the diet with great religiosity. I just did it with 100 percent commitment. And then about nine months later, my tumor returned in the same spot. When it returned, it was about
