Very much. Thank you very much, everybody, for staying at this late hour. We appreciate it. It's about five thirty now. It's about happy hour.
And what we're going to talk about is making people happy, having people be able to see again and to save their sight. So there's a lot of hope on the horizon for everybody. We're basically going back to basics. So we go back to the basics. What I like to talk to all my patients about is the Old Testament healing, because that's really what this seminar is all about. It's going back to the basic Old Testament. Most people think of the Old Testament. There's Ten Commandments, but actually there's 613 commandments in the Old Testament, of which two hundred and thirteen have to do with health, nutrition and sanitation.
And if you follow those rules, you get to have a long, happy life and you get to live about 120 years like Moses.
And everything seems to go pretty well for you.
So that's what what am I talking about? Well, one of the commandments that I like most is everything in moderation. So eat in moderation and go back to the Old Testament. Eating well.
What was that? Vegetables, salads, fruits, fish, olive oil, the extra virgin type.
The grains they had then were wheat and barley. And the type of meat that they eat was like lamb. But it was it was grass fed.
So if one goes back to an Old Testament style of life, all sorts of good things happen to you. Are you at risk for a disease? It's an easy yes, no question. First one is, are you 65 years of age or older? Do you have blue, green or light colored eyes? If you do have blue, green or light colored eyes, your risk of developing macular digit inflation is 20 times that of somebody who has dark brown eyes.
Next one. Do you go out in the sunshine without sunglasses? Next, do you smoke at least once a week? Five. Do you eat processed foods high in additives at least once a week? Six. To eat chocolate cookies, candy cake or pie at least once a day. Seven.
Do you have alcoholic beverages each day? Eight. Do you have a family history of macular disease? 90. You have diabetes.
- Do you have cardiovascular disease? Eleven. Have you been exposed to chemical toxins? Twelve. Is your life stressful? If you've answered yes to for more risk factors, you need to come see me.
In many cases, symptoms of eye disease are symptoms of other parts of the body. When was the last time people
