All right. You don't have to get too close. OK. Just comfortable. Yes. Can you hear me? Good morning.
It's it's great to be here. This is my 18th year speaking. I don't speak every year, but every other year to the cancer control.
And it's so wonderful to have that opportunity every year. I heard somebody because I came by. Well, there she is. And they were wondering how old I was. I'll put your mind at ease. I'm 88. I spoke the first time.
Dear ones, this is what raw foods do for you, believe me. At 57, I was given a car, my seat in which took my bone marrow and gave me a very, very low immune system.
And from that time, it took me 32 years to come out of that.
And in that 32 year, I had everything in the book, some sixty-three different things, everything from a red turkey neck to focus on the toes, of course, little things and big things, but among them for terminal illnesses. Now, I came out of it with the help of my husband, who was a scientist. He was a physicist, chemist. I didn't take sides. I married and he helped me all along the way with my books. He passed away a few years ago as a result of an accident.
Totally healthy eating the way I did, and happily so. I'm going to talk a little bit today.
Our time is short about sprouts and the efficacy, the effectiveness of sprouts on our health. And I'm going to identify sprouts.
We speak of sprouts in different terms. Some people call a sprout the two leaf stage. Some people call it sprout. The budding stage, I'm afraid I talk about sprouts. I just kind of put it all together. But what I really mean is the budding stage, the germination and the little tail on the seed gets about the length of the seed. That takes approximately 48 hours, some with some seeds. It will take 72. Now, in that sprouting process, the nutrition goes up, up, up, up and up like this exponentially. It will go up from 8 to 16 to 32 to 64 times. So we got a lot of nutrition and a little bit of sprouts. The two leaf stage is controversial. If it agrees with you, you go ahead, beat them, make sure they are fresh. It's been found that alfalfa sprouts harbor all kinds of bacteria equal. I myself got food poisoning from alfalfa sprouts, just a sprinkle on what they call a wrap around, whatever that is. It had some sort of a pancake thing around it and
