About Tony O'Donnell
TONY O’DONNELL N.D., Ph.D. was born into a family of 11 children in Donegal, Ireland. He lost his father to heart disease when he was 21 and 4 other members of his family (including his fiance) to cancer. These traumatic experiences motivated him to take charge of his own health and to help others lead healthier lives. Tony’s mission in life is to love, care, share and to help others understand what quality living is all about.
Tony graduated with a B.A. in Engineering from the University College in Galway, Ireland. Later, he studied at the British Homeopathic College in London, England and received 2 Degrees, one as a Certified Herbalist and the other as a Naturopath. He also received a Degree in Ireland as a Certified Nutritionist.
He came to the United States and became the Vice-President of a major nutritional corporation. Additionally, he has been the formulator of leading vitamin products. including the top seller Radiant Greens. He has also written articles on health for many publications and his first book called Miracle Superfoods That Heal has been recently updated. His latest books include Miracle Diabetes Secrets and Miracle Heart Health Secrets.

Good morning, everybody. We're all alive and energetic 30th annual cancer convention. We have about 40 speakers, so we move very, very quickly. And I'd like to just give thanks to Frank. Of course, the president of. Cancer Control Society and Lorraine Rosenthal for creating that some 38 plus years ago. Thank you, Lorraine. Thank you, Frank. Give me a nice round of applause.
As you can tell, I'm from Ireland with this accent. This early in the morning, you can tell that I'm an Irish lad. And the reason why I do this is I lost my father to heart disease. I lost my fiance to the cancer. And we would come here and seek answers to some of life's challenges and why we get cancer and why we get heart disease. And Lorraine wanted me to speak a little bit on heart disease, and I'm certainly not that qualified to speak on cardiovascular disease, even though we know that a lot of people suffer from it every single year in the United States. And when I saw my father die of heart disease, I wanted to be an actor by the doctor when I saw my fiancee die of cancer. She had six years of chemo and radiation. I wanted to go into the world and be a force for good and to help others. And this is why I get to travel extensively and this is why I get to do what I do. And this is why I get to write the books and do the lectures and do the seminars. So hopefully if we just get a little bit of information today, it'll certainly help you take your life back. We only have one life and we've got to choose carefully what we put in our body. Mother Teresa, who was my mentor back in my native Ireland, told me that the healing of the sick is the greatest calling one can have on one's life. So what do you do today is the great Shakespeare would say will affect you later on in life? I don't want to bore you with a lot of negative statistics on heart disease, but I'll run through it as quickly as I can and I'll give you some herbal superfoods that I feel will be a great benefit to those of you who have, as we call this industry, a health challenge due to time constraint.
