About Dr. Gilberto Alvarez
Dr. Gilberto Alvarez is a medical doctor who graduated from the National Autonomous University in Mexico City and practices medicine in both Mexico and the United States. He has over 37 years of experience and a longtime practice in integrative and natural medicine for cancer patients. Between the years 1977 and 1981, he worked with Dr. Ernesto Contreras, a well-recognized doctor, founder of Oasis of Hope clinic in Tijuana, and the first doctor to have brought the German methods of therapy to Mexico.
Between 1982 and 1992 he was the medical director at Dr. Harold W. Manner’s clinic, pioneering in nutritional therapy based on laetrile and vitamins. Later on, Dr. Alvarez became the medical director at Stella Maris from 1993 until today. He participated on Proteolytic Enzyme Therapy in Munich, Germany with Dr. Karl Ransberger. He then became a member of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS) in Florence, Italy in 2005. His experience in cancer and other disorders is extensive, and he implements his expertise in different programs given at his clinic.
On a personal level, Dr. Alvarez is a warm person who sees the patient as a whole and shows genuine caring and empathy. He answers patients’ calls personally before and after treatment.

Actually, I'm going to share with you the experience that we have accumulated in the true metabolic therapy in breast cancer and brain tumors. And I like to start the with with her slide and focus on these were one of the main concerns that we have in dealing with in working. And be successful in eliminating any given tumor has to do with what we call tumor resistances, which is pretty much influence. When our patient had been exposed or overexposed to prior chemotherapies or radiation therapy and as well it is intensified with a birthing cord which surrounds these cancer cells. So this is one of the reasons why the tumor had not been successfully eliminated with any given therapy. It's still Mars Clinic. We have orientated the work in three different areas, covering the first one true solar homeostasis. The second one to our natural cancer attacking system. And the third one through immunomodulators. I like to describe one by one each of these areas. And I like to start with the first one, similar homeostasis. We're working through the cell enhancement, the cell for a better functioning. So in order to accomplish this, this goal, we are using different methods.
The first one that we have to eliminate is to eliminate these toxins that we get accumulated through the many sources we are using, also antioxidants and also in therapy, which is very important here.
And the husband sulfite, and mostly in those people who have come to us with a protein, weight loss and energy levels, which is quite typical in advanced cancer conditions. And also, we have to activate the lymphatic system. All these are associated with a certain orthomolecular supplement program, which is a swell that tries to enhance our cell for a better functioning and nutritional support. Very, very important. We have to change our eating habits. We have to eliminate the many, many of the bad habits that we're accustomed to to deal with. So the first one, the three, two, in order to eliminate these toxins that we get accumulated in our body through the prior chemos, through prior radiation therapies or or air pollution or food preservatives. The first thing we're doing our patients is to put them on on on a juice fast where at least a one or two days depend upon the patient's strength. This patient will be kept under these juice fast.
