About Douglas Brodie
DOUGLAS BRODIE, M.D. completed his pre-medical requirements at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana and his M.D. Degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After his internship in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he served in the United States Air Force as a Captain and Flight Surgeon. Dr. Brodie’s resident training was with the University of California Hospital in San Francisco, California and with Alameda County Hospital in Oakland, California, serving his last year as Chief Medical Resident.
For 20 years he had a successful and uninterrupted medical practice in California. In 1976 he came to the rescue of the Dr. John Richardson Clinic when Dr. Richardson was forced to give up his practice. Dr. Brodie used non-toxic and natural methods in the control of cancer and began to suffer the same harassment and public humiliation as did Dr. Richardson. Fighting many attempts to take his license away, Dr. Brodie finally won the right to treat his patients with Metabolic Therapy. He considers this “Not just a personal victory, but a victory for freedom of choice in Medicine.” Moving his practice to Nevada in 1980, Dr. Brodie continues to provide alternative care for cancer patients in Reno, Nevada.

As he says, I've been practicing for a long time. Not 20 years of my my practice has been with conventional medicine. I was one of those one of those people way back. And for the last 30 years, I've been doing a primarily alternative and complementary medicine treatment for cancer. And so I'm altogether. I have been practicing for 50 years. So you think by now I'd give it right? I'm going to practice some more, few years more.
Maybe I'll get it right eventually. I've been really blessed in Nevada being permitted to continue to do alternative methods and complementary methods for cancer. I've had a few scrapes with the standard that but nothing compared with California, which has been medically oppressive, to say the least. However, I still still maintain a license not only in Nevada, but also in this oppressive state of California. Praise be to God.
In the past I have addressed this wonderful group and I've given a number of rather many discussed many substances, natural substances, which are used in my practice to help cancer patients this time. And I'm going to limit my discussion to a few substances that I consider to be the most promising and the most potent of the various substances I use in my practice.
As you know and as you've heard from other speakers, conventional medicine.
The curse has directed its attention toward finding a one one shot cure, a magic bullet, which, of course, doesn't exist and and will never be found. Cancer is a multifactorial disease that requires a multitude of different factors, trying to correct the Patience's and the factors that led to the cancer in the first place.
So the failure of the magic bullet idea is becoming more and more apparent, I think, to the general public every day. It's becoming more and more obvious. So we feel a curse, as many speakers have expressed that the basic thrust of what we do is aimed toward improving the immune system, bolstering the natural defenses against cancer. And of course, that's what I do. We must treat the whole person, not just isolate one one substance or one chemical. But we have to deal with with all the features of cancer. And so we continue to look for the missing links.
And I'd like to present what I consider to be some of the more important missing links. If I could have the first slide, please.
