Dr. Ezrin is also the author of two books, The Type 2 Diabetes Diet Book with Robert Kowalski and Your Fat Can Make You Thin with Kristen Caron, M.A. This latest book deals with the revolutionary weight-loss program that turns your body into a fat-burning machine. This process is known as lipolysis. Lipolysis is a beneficial state in which fat tissue breaks down into triglycerides and ketone. Triglycerides are a powerful fuel that the body uses as a main energy source. This breakdown of unwanted fat cuts the appetite, calms the brain and eliminates unwanted salt and water retention. Dr. Ezrin’s plan for obesity is to control the metabolism through diet, exercise and sleep.
Dr. Ezrin may be contacted at his Tarzana Medical Square office by phone 818-996-3936.

Let me try this one here. Can you hear me now, OK? I can hear me now.
My name is Dr. Jean. I'm the radio show host of Healthy Advice with Dr. Jean on Keala 870. We're on every night from nine to 10 p.m. and we are a progressive radio station that tries to integrate as much of complementary medicine into the Alan Pathic Western world.
And the nice thing about the program is that we cover all subjects and two of them, which are very dear to me because over the years and I've been doing it for about seven to eight years, is we run across individuals that have so much passion and what they believe in. What happens if I don't?
I have to use this one, OK? Is that we talk about subjects that literally interest the listener. And also what those that are very cutting edge. And when I went to school fairly close to about 30 years ago, as with Dr. Ezrin, we never thought that insulin resistance, in a sense, would be the epicenter of a cascade of all of this metabolic syndrome that we talk about, which is hypertension all the way down to cardiovascular breakdown and also for inflammation and also for disease. Every disease that's out there today is a chronic illness that has to do with inflammation. A hundred years ago, everything was infectious, as we all know, smallpox, influenza. And we pretty much have those under control. But a hundred years later, we have a chronic chronic disease. You can't name one from cancer to diabetes to lupus to Parkinson's. You just name all of them. They're all inflammatory diseases. And the only thing that has changed within all those years is the diet that were on.
So now nutrition becomes very, very, very important. Well, Dr. Ezrin, who is an icon in the field of insulin resistance. I was taught at the Banding Institute in Canada. A visiting professor to Harvard was the personal resident physician for Dr. Best. Person that discovered insulin got the Nobel Prize. Actually, there's a word that coins Dr. AZN has called diabesity. And diabesity, obviously, as the coin is between obesity and diabetes. And as I just explained, the importance of all of this is just unbelievable. Now he has an office located in the Encino Tarzana Regional Medical Center right here in the San Fernando Valley. And he practices things and has Kersting Chris. Karen, who is a psychotherapist and also a nutritionist that works with him to be able to go ahead and maintain obesity. He's written a wonderful book. You're Fat Can Make You Thin. We'll be
