The second in the series, One Man Alone, presents the results of Dr. Gonzalez's five-year investigation of William Donald Kelley, D.D.S., completed under the direction of Dr. Good. The third, What Went Wrong, documents Dr. Gonzalez's battle to have his therapy properly tested in an NCI Clinical Study. His books can be ordered through the website www.newspringpress.com. All right. Thank you so much. I really appreciate Lorraine is one of the heroes of alternative medicine.
She's been running this conference for, what, 38, 40 years deserves a hand of applause. The award was totally unexpected, but I'm very grateful for it.
Thank you for honoring me in such a way.
I know Lorraine is very persistent. She's been inviting me for about the last 15 years. Now, I live in the middle of New York City. I have a very busy practice. I work seven days a week, see patients five days, do my writing research on the weekends and it's hard for me to get away, but which he invited me this year. I said, you know, I really admire Lorraine. She's an invited me now for 15 years. And I said, no, I can't do it. She keeps coming back and I am persistent myself. So her persistence deserves to be rewarded. So I said, I'm going. There I am.
We flew in yesterday, flying back tomorrow.
But here I am. So it's great to be here. I know this conference is a really extraordinary, exceptional conference and it's so great to be able to speak to here. Now, I don't have a whole lot of time for me, I've given six hour lectures, but we get you know, we can cover a lot of ground. What I'm gonna do today is summarize the therapy briefly and then present a series of cases. Patients histories always make good stories. People like to hear stories. And I thought that's what I do today on a Sunday afternoon and present some of our case reports, some of our case histories, some of Kelly's case reports, many of you know, in our office, we offer a very aggressive, intentional intention, intensive nutritional approach to the treatment of cancer and other degenerative diseases. The program, in its essence, involves three basic components, although it's very complicated and the physiology about chemistry can get really esoteric and basis. It involves three basic components individualized diet, individualized supplement programs with large doses of protein, lytic pancreatic enzymes and the detoxification routine such as the coffee enemas that are very important to the program. Now many alternative practice practitioners rely on one type of diet. Our program is based on the Kelly regimen. One of Kelly's great innovations, we realized different people in different diets. And by the time he left practice, he had 10 basic diets that range from pure vegetarian, largely raw foods, vegetarian, kind of like a curse, and died to diets where we prescribed red meat two or three times a day like an Atkins diet. And he
