Thank you, I'm so happy to be here, I want to thank the Cancer Control Society and Frank and and Lorraine and all the people who made it possible for us to be here tonight. It's a wonderful opportunity to tell the truth, not be afraid to tell the truth. And I'm not going to have any need for any kind of props. I'm going to talk to you. Heart to heart. Person to person. Everything I say has to do with you.

And I'm just grateful that you are here. So I'm from Los Angeles. I was born here. And my brother and I, Jerry, we are from Los Angeles. We love Los Angeles. And in April of 2012, he called to tell me that he had cancer. Well, that was terrible news. It was terrible news. But our mother had also died of cancer when she was only 62. So I had a long time to think about what I would do if I got cancer because she suffered terribly from chemo and surgery. And I do mean terrible. And it left such a lasting impression upon me that I determined I would never do that. So when my brother and my dearest brother said he had cancer, he was going to be doing chemo and radiation and surgery. It was it was heart wrenching for me to hear that. And he said to me, and you have cancer, too. So what are you going to do? When do you have your mastectomy? When do you start your chemo? And I said, well, Jerry, never. Well, he was my big brother. So for me to say no to what he thought would be best for me was talking to him. And he had this very hurt look on his face because he thought that that was a death sentence to me. But when I looked at his beautiful face, I thought this is a death sentence for him. And unfortunately, I was right. So he went his way and he immediately had a very vigorous chemo therapy, so-called therapy, because I think when you're rich, they give you more. That's what I think. So he got more. And so he went downhill very quickly. He had a surgery during the search. There was a terrible error committed that happened, a medical error. And the next four surgeries and five procedures, nine and all over the last next 11 or 12 months was spent in trying to correct the original error, which was never corrected. So he said to me, well, what are you going to do? And my first choice would have been to go to the the
