Ozone is a gas that was discovered in the mid-nineteenth century. Its molecular structure consists of three atoms of oxygen, which makes it denser and more soluble in water [1]. Prolotherapy, which has been used since the 1950s, is based on the theory that chronic pain is often caused by the laxness of the ligaments responsible for keeping a joint stable.
