About Joseph J. Pinzone
Dr. Pinzone is our Chief Medical Officer overseeing, designing, guiding, and monitoring individual patient treatment plans and the delivery of hyperthermia treatments. Dr. Pinzone also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Education & Certificates
Dr. Pinzone received his MD from New York University School of Medicine and completed residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (now New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center). He completed a clinical and research fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University Medical School. During his fellowship, he successfully competed for and secured a research grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study pituitary tumors.
After fellowship, he joined the faculty of George Washington University (GWU) School of Medicine and then Ohio State College of Medicine. During his time at GWU, Dr. Pinzone secured an NIH grant to study how breast cancer starts and spreads to bone.
