About Earl Mindell
EARL MINDELL, R.Ph., M.H., Ph.D. (PHARMACIST, MASTER HERBALIST AND NUTRITIONIST) received his R.Ph. Degree in 1963 at the North Dakota State University, Fargo; his M.H. Degree in 1985 at the Dominion Herbal College, Surrey, BC, Canada and his Ph.D. Degree in 1985 at Pacific Western University in Los Angeles, California.

Well, it's true, cancer doesn't live here. If you lived in nineteen hundred in this country. In fact, in nineteen hundred one out of 20 people will come down with cancer. In 1970, it was one out of 10. And for those of you who remember, in 1971, we had a president, Richard M. Nixon had the so-called war on cancer. Well, the war on cancer is lost. There's no doubt about it, because in the year today, actually one out of three will have cancer. And they predict by the year 2050, which is coming up pretty quickly, that one out of two Americans will have some type of cancer in their lifetime. Now, you might say, well, it's due because we are living longer. That's true. We are living longer. And some people say it's because of the genes. Well, it was because of the genes. Why is it that the second leading cause of death among children is cancer? Second leading cause, first cause is accidents. So you can see that we've got a long way to go. I wanted to really give you some numbers here of how much money is being spent on cancer because you don't realize it's a big business. In fact, 40 percent of the medical students are opting for oncology as their specialty because they know that's where the medicine is going. In fact, in 2013, one million six hundred and sixty six thousand new cancer patients were actually found.
So almost to close to two million people, typical cancer patient pays between five fifty part me and one hundred thousand dollars to fighting cancer. We're spending about fifty two hundred thousand dollars more per patient. And the average patient, if they're on a chemotherapy regimen, is spending between five and seven thousand dollars. Over three hundred billion dollars today is spent on cancer research. And eighty one billion for cyto toxic drugs. So you can see it's a big business, major business. In fact, if you look at the media, you can't even say the word cancer because it's all controlled by the establishment. And talking about that, establishment says there's only four ways you can treat cancer. Chemotherapy, radiation surgery and early detection. They consider early detection as prevention. Of course, it isn't really. It is looking for something early enough.
What is cancer? And I get this all the time. People say, well, we talk about this all the time. But what it what does the word mean? Well, it's a controlled growth of abnormal cells in your body and cells grow out of control, forming new abnormal cells. And these extra cells may form a mass of
