Dr. Darrow emphasizes Prolotherapy at his Center and also teaches Prolotherapy at UCLA. Prolotherapy is a safe, highly effective yet relatively unknown Therapy used to heal chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries by stimulating the growth of new collagen and cartilage tissue that rejuvenates the damaged ligaments, tendons, muscle fascia and joint capsules responsible for most chronic pain. With an injection of natural substances into precisely targeted areas of the body, knows as “trigger points,” the doctor activates the body’s natural healing process which stimulates the growth of new collagen and cartilage.

An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Darrow discovered Prolotherapy after an injury on the golf course caused him to suffer the kind of chronic pain that afflicts millions of Americans.

A skeptic, Dr. Darrow became a believer in the therapeutic healing power of Prolotherapy after only one treatment to his wrist. Since then he has devoted his practice to Prolotherapy, an exponentially growing, natural therapy that is revolutionizing the way we heal pain. Dr. Darrow has treated thousands of patients. Many of these patients were scheduled for surgery and never needed it. And, several patients came to Dr. Darrow after a failed surgery and healed using Prolotherapy.

Dr. Darrow is the author of Prolotherapy: Living Pain Free. In addition, he has his own radio show called “Living Pain Free” on KRLA-AM-870, Sat. 1:00–2:00 p.m. & Sun. 2:00–3:00 p.m. (Rerun) in Southern California. (Nationwide on internet www.jointrehab.com)

Thank you.

I've been reminded by Natasha's better half that I didn't put the station of Keala in that last little commercial that's the station that were on 878 am only station that I know. I've been with them now for close to eleven, twelve years. They're very interested in health. And, you know, over the last 13 years I've been very fortunate to set up my own classroom on Carelli, on subjects that I really didn't know too much about. But throughout the years, I became very familiar with these subjects and there are very few people that really walk the walk and talk the talk. You know, the passion in doing what you're doing in medicine today and in the health field, I think is run by the minorities. It's not driven by the minorities, by the dollar, but it is driven by the larger corporations for that amount. And it's really a shame, probiotics being one example. There are probiotics and probiotics. And if you don't know which one to buy because they tell you that there's so many high numbers in the bottle or it's not refrigerated, as we told you, you're not you're getting sawdust. It's dead on arrival. And that's not something that you want to spend good money for. And there's a lot of people with hype out there. And Dr. Daro and I have talked endless hours. I've known the young man here for at least seven years. I didn't know what prolotherapy was. I found out originally that a third of our population were in chronic pain at all times. I can't say that I was part of that population, but I can tell you that chronic pain and acute pain and maybe we can differentiate a little between the two to let people know what it is. There's an invasive type of therapy by injecting a little bit of dextrose into an area and getting some Condra sites and fiber's sites to get to the area to hit a blood supply. They can actually build college. And here I come as a pharmacist, probably listening on the radio. Ninety percent of the time on things like nonsteroidal, anti inflammatories is being the only type of drug to go ahead and take. If you have a condition where there's an inflamed situation and then I find out through the years. Dr. Daro tells me while this hinders, this actually hinders the production of college and the connective tissue which he's trying to put in with these injections. So you see how we fight an uphill fight. A lot of times, and it's really difficult. It's really difficult to fight the establishment.
