About David Kennedy
DAVID KENNEDY, D.D.S. received his B.A. Degree in Conservative Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of Kansas in 1967 and his D.D.S. Degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School in 1971. He then served for 2 years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps in San Diego, California. One of his duties was environmental cleanup of the Naval Training Center base for spilled dental mercury.
In 1973, after the completion of his service obligation, Dr. Kennedy established his private practice in San Diego. He also established and helped build the Chicano Children’s Dental Health Center. In 1984, he founded the Preventive Dental Health Association. From 1988 to 1994 he served as Vice President and then President of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Dr. Kennedy has lectured internationally to dentists and professionals on preventive and restorative dentistry and on the hazards of mercury and fluoride.
In October 1995, Governor Pete Wilson signed AB733 into law which forces mandatory fluoridation of our water supply in all of California. The Legislature did this without examining the dangers such as hip fractures, cancer, dental fluorosis and other harmful effects, which have been linked to fluoride in the scientific literature.
Dr. Kennedy founded the Citizens for Safe Drinking Water to circulate a petition, which if enacted would have prohibited fluoridation in California. The time to collect the necessary signatures ran out before the number of signatures needed had been collected.
At present efforts to prohibit fluoridation are from a scientific focus and on a local level by providing the city councils and citizen groups with solid scientific information about the dangers of fluoridation.

Some of the best lines are on video, so I'll give you a kind of a overall view of what's wrong with fluoride. And one of the biggest problems is all the time, all the effects that they've ever shown on teeth is topical. So it's like sunblock. You put it on your skin. You don't drink it once. It's in the water. It's in your coffee. It's in every single fluid that you get. You can't filtered out unless you run it through aluminum or bone.

It's everybody. American Dental Association, the Journal of American Dental Association. The yet. It's on the Web page of the United States Department of Agriculture. It's topical. It's effects on tooth decay are topical. And that means very simply, you do not have to swallow it to kill the little germs. And that's because it's a violent protoplasm poison. What does it do if you swallow it? The systemic effect of fluoride causes dental cirrhosis. They're not arguing about this. It's a well-known fact. The state of California estimated that fluoridation would create dental fluorosis. This is dental fluorosis caused by four parts per million water in China. These children calm done.
These children are being poisoned by the water they drink. Who would be poisoned if they had fluoridated water? Infants would receive substantial quantities of formula, generally should not use fluoridated water to make it up. That means that if you are raising a baby in a fluoridated community, you have to go buy bottled water.
But are you going to know what kind of water you're going to buy? And if they brush their teeth coalgate, it's already paid out big bucks to a child whose teeth were ruined by swallowing toothpaste. Have you read the label on the toothpaste lately? Keep out of reach of children. Contact the poison control center if they swallow the amount used in brushing. The amount used in brushing is less than would appear in one bottle of fluoridated tap water.
And this is dental fluorosis. The largest broad based study that we've had in America in the last 50 years shows that if you live in an unflooded aided community, you've got 13 percent of the children with them, fluorosis that me is in an unflooded and community. That's 13 percent of the children are already overdosed. But if you live in a Florida community, you're up to over 30 percent of the children. American Academy of Pediatrics doesn't recommend any fluoride for infants. And after 6, 6 and after 6 months, the amount of dose that they would receive is the equivalent to one cup.
