About David Kennedy
DAVID KENNEDY, D.D.S. received his B.A. Degree in Conservative Biochemistry and Physiology from the University of Kansas in 1967 and his D.D.S. Degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School in 1971. He then served for 2 years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Dental Corps in San Diego, California. One of his duties was environmental cleanup of the Naval Training Center base for spilled dental mercury.
In 1973, after the completion of his service obligation, Dr. Kennedy established his private practice in San Diego. He also established and helped build the Chicano Children’s Dental Health Center. In 1984, he founded the Preventive Dental Health Association. From 1988 to 1994 he served as Vice President and then President of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Dr. Kennedy has lectured internationally to dentists and professionals on preventive and restorative dentistry and on the hazards of mercury and fluoride.
In October 1995, Governor Pete Wilson signed AB733 into law which forces mandatory fluoridation of our water supply in all of California. The Legislature did this without examining the dangers such as hip fractures, cancer, dental fluorosis and other harmful effects, which have been linked to fluoride in the scientific literature.
Dr. Kennedy founded the Citizens for Safe Drinking Water to circulate a petition, which if enacted would have prohibited fluoridation in California. The time to collect the necessary signatures ran out before the number of signatures needed had been collected.
At present efforts to prohibit fluoridation are from a scientific focus and on a local level by providing the city councils and citizen groups with solid scientific information about the dangers of fluoridation.

Somebody asked me the other day how much money I make off fighting fluoride. And I said, well, it would save me about 50 hundred fifty to one hundred thousand dollars a year if it went out of a thing. So I don't make any money at it. So that's I'm terrible businessman. So a good thing my wife is rich. So speaking of my wife, she's going to be circulating around with a postcard. The that is my. Newest effort to get rid of excess cash. What I say is, is that I'm going to show you how to stop this. And Frank can tell you how to stop it. Anybody that's stopped it can tell you how to stop it. And it's basically a lot of hard work because that's how you stop it. You don't stop it by saying, oh, Dr. Kennedy, go stop it for me. I have protected my water supply. So you guys got to protect yours. And I really like what they did in Modesto because every city council person that voted to put the chemical in the water got deselected. So I say fluoride is really toxic to political careers if we make it so. And that's why it says, like me on Facebook, go to fluoride gate, like it. If you don't have a Facebook account, you set one up for 15 cents like it. And that way we'll move it up if they can get rid of all the dictators in the Arab countries by using Twitter and Facebook. We can do. I mean, you know, come on, this is democracy. So let's get to work on it as a. So I'm going to tell you a little bit about fluoride cancer. The movie tells it actually better that that the first. Time the fluoride was linked to cancer was in a study by the late Dean Burke and John Yumminess, and they showed that there was a dramatic increase. Today, it was 10 percent of the time in cancer death rates. That's different than causes cancer. But more people were dying of cancer in areas that added fluoride to the water supply. Well, what's interesting is they don't add it to the water supply. Why would they do that when they can add raw, untreated, hazardous waste instead? So there's only 17 percent fluoride in the chemicals that they're adding to your water supply.
