Well, thank you, ladies and gentlemen, thank you, Lorraine. And thank you, Frank. I have to say that.

When I arrived here yesterday and I saw that I was going to be a recipient of an award, a humanitarian award of all things, it made me very nervous because I've observed over the years whenever I have attended functions where they have given awards like this or had honorary dinners and so forth, in almost every case that I can remember, the person who was the recipient of the ward was very, very old.

And I think that I had the feeling that he had a good thing there giving them this award this year because this is the last chance to, you know. John and Charlie is is it cabin that the grandson of a Ryan well, close ended with an end? Yeah, ended with an end. And they are carrying on the tradition of their father now. Many of you, of course, don't know about Dr. John Richardson, but you'll learn a little bit about him shortly. Back in 1971, I didn't know anything about Latrelle, but John did. He was a practicing physician at Albany, California, up in the San Francisco area. And we had been friends. We had other interests that bound us together. And it was not in the health field.

It was more an ideological issues and political issues and social issues and so forth. We had a lot in
