Thank you very much. You have cancer. Now, shortly after one hears these words. And the initial shock starts to wear off. The worrying sets in. So what does someone with cancer worry about specifically? As someone who's in the position of working and helping hundreds of cancer patients each and every year, I decided to ask some of them. And here's some of their responses. Is my family going to be OK?

Am I going to beat this? Can I keep working? Will I lose my home? Can I afford treatment?

So what do most of these responses or these concerns have in common? Money. Do I have enough money? And there's good reason for someone with cancer to worry about money. People with cancer, oftentimes their income is disrupt disrupted. And cancer can also be incredibly expensive. So let's all get this straight. You got cancer. Your income goes down. And your expenses go up. That doesn't sound very good. Sounds like a recipe. For bankruptcy. I'm pretty sure that's not how you make cookies. Now, one statistic. That. Sheds more light on this issue than any other is the following. Sixty two percent of all U.S. bankruptcies are medically related. Sixty two percent of every American that goes bankrupt does so in Maine part. Due to medical bills. And I'm pretty sure most of those are cancer. Here's another interesting statistic. Seventy percent. Of U.S. adults have life insurance. Sounds good. But unfortunately, this is a dirty little secret within the life insurance industry that may surprise some of you.

Eighty five percent of life insurance policies lapse, meaning they're canceled. They cease to exist. Before they ever pay out a claim, which means that 85 percent of the time life insurance companies are collecting premium payments on policies that they will never have to pay out on. That sounds like a pretty good business model and would explain why in most major cities, the owners of the largest buildings are life insurance companies. That's where the money's going. Now, those of you who are in the business. Of helping cancer patients. You're not immune from this financial crisis. You're also negatively impacted. And for those of you who charge for your services, I want you to ask yourselves this one question. What if half? Of the cancer patients who as of this moment. Cannot afford your services. All of a sudden could. How would that impact your business? How many people can you help and dare I say? How many lives could you save? A few hundred. A few thousand. So a few years ago. I teamed up with a company called Life Credit Company. They're
