OK. We have a very wide topic and a little bit of time, so we're going to rush right into it. The reason that we're talking about all three of these at the same time is that may be a question of prevention, maintenance and treatment of all of these disease processes are very similar, even though they're very different disease processes. Now, I often tell my patients that there are two main reasons that we get disease. One is a genetic predisposition. So for some reason, we have a genetic predisposition towards getting a certain disease. The other broad reason is exposure. So whether it's toxins, foods, waters, the air we breathe, where we live in the country, stress, whatever the reason, those exposures cause our body to present with a certain disease process. So many of the therapies are the same. In the integrative approach, we're talking about treating the whole body together. There is no disease process and no health process that exists solely. Your heart does not exist outside of your body. Your any type of cancer does not exist in and of itself. It exists as a whole part of your body. So it has to be treated with your whole body. I don't know why those keep changing by themselves. So we want to test for entry. Anybody imbalances. We want to treat lifestyle. We want to reduce inflammation, which is a which deserves to be talked about on its own. We're going to talk about some of the specialty therapies in each of these, and we're going to talk about toxicity briefly. Now what we're talking about, whole body considerations. Some of the things that we need to consider is the body's optimum and optimum endocrine function. We're looking at fibroid optimization. We're looking at how hormones and adrenal glands. Now, the reason that's important is because your endocrine system helps your body to stay in control, helps your body's immune system to function better. So while you may not be talking about a thyroid cancer, it's important that your thyroid system be working well. I'll often say that if you're going to fight a if you're going to fight a war, you can't fight on just one battle front. You're going to lose that war. You have to fight on all battle fronts. And so that's what we're talking about here. We need to look at risk factors when we're talking about treating the patient as a whole. We need to look at inflammation. Cardiovascular risk factors. We want to look at cardiovascular risk factors, because if the patient has increased risk of atherosclerosis or forming plaques in the arteries, then they're
