He is an inventor of a new method of treating patients with a variety of cancers, both solid tumors and hematological cancers using natural substances, called MTET of multi-molecular targeted Epigenetic Therapy. Through this new method he has successfully treated patients with advanced cancer who have failed all other methods of conventional treatments. In collaboration with leading Oncology establishments in the academic settings, his method is on its way for broad spectrum clinical trials. His case stories have also been reviewed for best case series of Alternative and Complementary Medicine in oncology by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

He is one of the Principal investigators commissioned by the National Institute of Health for the TACT Trial (Trial to Assess Chelation Therapy). His practice encompasses Integrative Oncology, Genetic Testing and Cancer Prevention and Treatment. His main area of research and interest is cancer stem cells and Epigenetic Plasticity And Differentiation Therapies.

Since 2008, he has been the Medical Director and President of Pacific Medical Center of Hope, in Fresno, California. This center has welcomed patients traveling from all over the US and as well as Europe. The second franchised center of his practice is opening in September 2013, in Newport Beach, California. Well, good afternoon, everybody. As Frank mentioned, I have extensive training in conventional medicine, so I would say that some of the speakers come here and they attack conventional doctors. I would disagree with them. I think that conventional even oncologists, they have contributed to the health of some cancer patients.

Speaking said that I also have major concerns about chemotherapy and conventional treatments if they are given blindly. So what I think is that if you combine the both methodologies, both natural and conventional medicine, we can get the best results. Wanted to thank Frank for inviting me here and let's give applause to him for being in cancer control society and actually saving lives for decades. Now, I would like, ladies and gentlemen, to fasten your seat belt, because this lecture was supposed to be given in three hours and I have to shrink that in 25 minutes. So we have to fast forward a little bit. So be prepared.

OK, first.

Slide. I would like to do some outlines here. We are here to understand the basics and core concepts of integrative medicine and clarify some misconceptions about the complementary medicine and cancer, comprehend the genetic relationship to cancers, and understand the immune system and the correlation to cancer development and progress confronting cancer as a chronic condition. And reviewing the customized, targeted immune therapies and effect on chemotherapy, herbs and cancer, in some cases studies.

So as you can see, we need to focus on the immune system because most of the patients suffer from immune imbalances from beginning before the cancer is clinically diagnosed. And what I mean by that is that some studies show that normal individuals that don't have diagnosed cancers, they carry cancer cells in their different organs before being diagnosed. And what happens is that the immune system detects them and defeats them before they're diagnosed. So for somebody who is diagnosed for cancer, that has been many years that that person has been suffering from some sort of immune imbalances to begin with. So one hundred percent of my patients, when they come to see me, they go through extensive immune evaluation. And what we do is that we measure their immune system ability to fight with cancer from beginning. And that's the difference and very important difference between conventional treatments and natural treatments. Because if you miss that important element in the treating patient, you miss a big part. What conventional medicine does is that they just target and focus their trapeze on the cancer itself. And unfortunately, most of the chemotherapy agents that they use, they suppress the immune system. And unfortunately, that's ignored. And if you even
