Frank, thanks, ladies and gentlemen.

I guess we only had about a half an hour, so I don't know. I'm going to have the real rush ahead on this one. Frank was good enough to mention my wife, Pat. She's right here taking a picture, and she's the author in her own right. Pat, would you stand up, please? She's the author of Laetrile Case Histories. I'm going to be talking about theory today. She in her book Landro Case Histories, I was talking about actual case results of a whole bunch of patients who were on the brink of of death, literally with cancer, and then went to lateral therapy and made amazing recoveries. So theory is one thing. Reality is another. So my job is to talk about the science and the politics of cancer therapy. Well, I don't know where to start.

So I just start with where my involvement began. It was actually the summer of 1971 that I first heard the word Latrelle, a good friend of mine, by the name of Dr. John Richardson, who had a thriving practice in the San Francisco area, called me one day and he said he wanted to talk to me about the possibility of helping him write an article to be published in a magazine. He said, it works. That's why I said, well, I have to know more about this. So to make a long story short. I met with John and that went away for a couple of days and he brought his briefcase. And we looked at all these papers and I couldn't believe what he was telling me, that he was using it as substance in the control of cancer that was working. And yet his colleagues in the medical association here in California and the hospital with the hospital was threatening to take away his hospital privileges and they were threatening him with taking away his license to practice medicine because he was using something that wasn't approved by the FDA. And I said, well, tell me about it.

Well, it's a simple thing is that this substance, it was brought to be by my office manager who heard about it from another source, and they said it was very good. He said, I didn't
